Dr. Nadir Meghji is a Certified Plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeon based in Dar es salaam, Tanzania. He  acquired his medical degree (MD) at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS). In 2023, he graduated with a Master's degree in Plastic Surgery (MS) in Alexandria University (AU) Faculty of Medicine with a thesis based on Breast surgery. On top of that, he did his Residency training in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic surgery at Alexandria Main University Hospital (AMUH), Alexandria, Egypt. Since he also has passion with public health, he persued a Master's degree in Public Health (MPH) from the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). He is linked with various local and international professional organisations and institutions. Currently, he is an International Member Candidate of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and a clinical Fellow in Breast and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He also serves as honorary lecturer of Plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS). He is the founder and the president of Reconstructive Surgery Tanzania(RecoTz), a local NGO operating in Tanzania focusing on creating awareness, provide finacial support, and perform reconstructive surgery services to the community. Furthermore, Dr. Meghji serves as the current Vice President of the Tanzania Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgeons (TASPRAS).
